This is the first screen that will appear when you start TCS. All of a days events are displayed on this form and all of the functions of TCS can be initiated from this screen. The functions can be initiated by several methods:
· Menu selections
· Command Buttons at the bottom of the screen
· Right clicking the mouse.
· Double clicking an available time (white background) will send you to the add lesson form. Double clicking any event will allow you to edit the event.

Calendar: Use the calendar to select the day you want to schedule an event or review. You can move a month at a time by clicking on the left and right triangles in the scroll bar at the bottom of the calendar control. You can move a year at a time by clicking on the scroll bar in a spot other than the triangles.
Legend: This is a display only. It gives the users descriptions of various colors of scheduled events. For example all rentals are red.
Folder: There are 3 to n folder tabs on the folder object. The first tab will allow you to display instructors schedules. Folder 2 contains the schedule for a facility. If the user is scheduling for multiple facilities then there will be a tab for each facility. The last tab contains the lesson log. Click on the tab description to change the folder displayed.
Use the Facility Schedule to determine when times are available for rentals or other events. Double clicking an available time (white background) will send you to the add rental form. Double clicking any event will allow you to edit the event.

The Lesson / Rental log displays all of a time periods lesson and rental activities.
· You can narrow what is displayed by selecting specific dates or individual instructors. Use the 2 drop down lists at the bottom of the screen to customize your list.
· You can also specify the display order by clicking on the column heading.
· Double click on any line in the grids to edit the event.

The command buttons take the users to the various functional areas of the system. Player/Customer takes the user to the program for editing and adding customer information, Coaches/Clients takes the user to the area for editing and adding coaches and clients, etc. The command buttons are actually redundant because they are duplicated by the functions in the Edit menu on the menu bar at the top of the form.
Because TCS supports multiple users simultaneously other people may be maintaining the schedule. For performance reasons TCS does not monitor for changes from other users when you are not using the system. If you do not have any activity at your workstation for a while make sure you hit the “Refresh” button to show any changes others may have made. TCS will automatically check for changes if you update anything.
